The Home Builders Association of Middle Georgia proudly announces our 2015 Houston County Parade of Homes and “Macon Dreams, A Showcase Home” . The dates have been set for April 25th & 26th and May 2nd & 3rd, 2015 for public viewing.
The Showcase Home had its official ground breaking December 10th at the new home site in Waddesdon Estates located off Zebulon Road. Once complete, the home will be fully decorated by Macon’s finest interior designers. The cost to view this showcase home will be $10.00. Amber Johnson, KLASSIX Home Designs, is lead designer and has organized decorating efforts. Johnny Johnson and Troy Moxley, KLASSIX Home Designs, are the builders. The Home Builders Association of Middle Georgia has partnered with Save-A-Pet in Monroe County and Rooms From the Heart who will be receiving the gate proceeds collected during the two weekend showing.
The Parade of Homes will be located at several subdivisions in Warner Robins and Perry. Local builders in Houston County will open their homes to the public for FREE viewing for these two weekends. All homes will be fully or partially decorated. Tara Norman, Diane’s Daughter and Primitive Barntiques, will be the consulting decorator for the Parade Builders. The Home Builders Association of Middle Georgia has partnered with 21st Century Partnership and they will benefit from a raffle provided by the builders in the Parade of Homes.
The Home Builders Association of Middle Georgia works with local builders on events such as this to provide the community with an opportunity to buy that “dream home” for their family. The mission of the association is to provide affordable homes and to have home ownership within everyone’s reach.
