HBA membership meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Georgia Power Facility located at 960 Key Street across from Academy Sports. There are no meetings during the months of July and December due to the holidays. The meetings begin at 12:00 NOON and lunch is served at no additional charge to the member representative. Visitors are welcome to attend for a charge of $10.00 per person.
Our monthly meetings provide a time for members and prospective members to meet and greet, to network their businesses, and to get an update on HBA events and any current news affecting the building industry. Full meeting time is also given to any business that would like to sponsor the meeting for a fee of $600.00. This sponsor is allowed an opportunity to make a full presentation, detailing the nature and service of their business. Front page coverage of their sponsorship is included in the HBA newsletter prior to the meeting. On a smaller scale, a table-top sponsorship is available for $250.00 which would allow a business to set up a table designated for their business cards and other materials and the representative is given a brief time to describe his or her line of work.
Two themes central to our membership are: “Support the Industry that Supports You” and “Do Business With a Member”. The monthly meetings strengthen this support to the building industry and membership adds credibility to each business.
